Industry Review Project

In a thorough examination of the Industrial Gases Industry, major manufacturers like Mahanagar Gas, Linde India, and GAIL India emerged as key players. The research involved a comprehensive analysis of their product portfolios, market presence, and financial performance. Insights were gleaned from corporate websites, financial reports, and industry publications, complemented by stock market data and analyst recommendations. This industry review project aimed to discern competitive positions, technological advancements, and contributions to the sector's evolution.

Social Responsibilty Project

During a four-month volunteer engagement with Inter-Cultural and Dialogue Exchange NGO, I played a pivotal role in fostering environmental awareness among students in Bengaluru's Government Schools. Through interactive sessions, I addressed diverse environmental issues, empowering students with knowledge of sustainability, conservation, and ecological responsibility. This Social Responsibility project aimed to cultivate a sense of environmental stewardship, instilling values that extend beyond the classroom.

Enterpreneurship Development Project

ToyLearn is an educational toy startup founded as part of an Entrepreneurship Development Project during my undergraduate studies. The company develops sustainable, interactive toys made from recycled milk cartons that teach children important skills like numbers, letters, and phonics through play. By repurposing waste materials, ToyLearn offers an eco-friendly alternative to traditional toys while fostering learning and environmental consciousness in young users.

Falcon and Warrior Project

Purpose of the project:

The primary objective was to understand and evaluate the total market for Flipkart smartphones. This involved outlining the sell-outs for each model across various brands and comparing this data with Amazon's performance. The goal was to gain insights into Flipkart's market dynamics and identify potential areas where Amazon could improve its competitive positioning.

 

My role:

I was responsible for cleaning up and enriching the dataset for over 3000+ smartphones. This involved adding all relevant details and analyzing the data for the years 2023 and 2024 to identify and address any gaps that affected the accuracy of the information. Additionally, I crafted a compelling narrative or story that highlighted key insights and could be presented with all relevant points.

 

Work done:

  • Filled in details such as network connectivity, RAM, ROM, processor, and processor family for over 3000+ smartphones.

  • Added sell-out data for Flipkart models and compared it with our calculated and intel data.

  • Changes in ratings data were used to estimate Flipkart sell-outs.

  • Analyzed the Flipkart website and identified and noted top-selling models missing from our report for inclusion.

  • Accurately transferred data between sheets.

  • Utilized Excel extensively for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
